The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone took place in the village of Slatina, in the city of Jagodina, on March 17th, in the presence of the Mayor of Jagodina, Mrs. Gordana Jovanović, and numerous guests. With this, we officially began the construction of the most modern cold storage facility for sorting and packaging table grapes — a new investment by our company in Jagodina, in the Tri Morave subregion.
The foundation stone was symbolically laid by the Mayor of Jagodina, the Director of Omega Agro Group Miloš Ćirić, and Nemanja Ćirić, Manager of GP Građevinar, the contractor performing the works — marking the official start of the cold storage facility’s construction.
The completion of this modern cold storage facility, with an area of 3,000 m² and a capacity of up to 1,000 tons, is planned by the end of July. It will be equipped with the latest machines for sorting and packaging table grapes. This greenfield investment will enable our company to establish a complete production system — from growing table grapes to delivering sorted and packaged products to customers across Serbia, the region, and Europe.
